Yep Yep! This shitty election is almost over. It's been a long, arduous campaign. Both candidates have fought valiantly for every single vote. With so much in the balance, and the nation facing tumultuous financial distress, it's now time to get out there and pick which one of these two we'd rather see try to keep this ship afloat for the next 4 years. Whether you vote for the Snobbish, Uppity Negro Marxist with ties to radical / Islamic terrorism who doesn't have a clue but talks a good game, or the Cantankerous Old Warmonger who will forget his own name by the end of his presidency, doesn't have a clue but talks a good game; is completely up to you. Frankly, I'm sick of seeing both of them but tbh it's our obligation to go out there and pick which one of these asshats we'd rather see sitting in Dubbya's chair - The 'lesser of 2 evils' rule is now in effect. It's fortunate that both candidates have pretty strong running mates. No other presidential candidate has had a higher chance of dying of old age in office than McCain. Coincidentally, no other candidate has had a higher chance of being assassinated by White Nationalists than Obama. Whatever happens, we can be assured the next 4 years will be no doubt - very entertaining.

Remember, if you don't cast your ballot, you can't piss and moan about the jerk-off in office later. Also, in the same respect, if you don't vote, you don't even get to say 'don't blame me, I voted for the other guy'. It's really up to you to decide which one of these puppets you want to sink this nation further into the shitstorm (well probably not, unless you have jewgolds, but hey, it does make us feel better, doesn't it?).

All joking aside, it's great that both Republicans and Democrats actually have candidates this year that are worth our vote. As much as I like to joke about them being total clowns , Both McCain and Obama are great guys, worthy of our admiration, and respect. Both are very concerned about making a discernable difference in this nation; and considering the last 8 years, we should be honored to have either one of them as our President. No matter who you vote for, get out there and do it, you bastages! That is all.

Dark Salvation

I was really hoping we'd see this one by Halloween, maybe we will yet: Dark Salvation is a Single Player Horror Game still in development by the fine peeps at Mangled Eye Studios . At a glance, it looks like your FPS gore-fest, but under closer introspection, the maps and character / NPC models have some real dark gothic quality to them. The theme seems to borderline on Quake-style archetecture but with a bit of a twist: the textures have a very hand-drawn 'Through the Looking Glass' look to them that gives one a very warm and fuzzy feeling (and by 'warm and fuzzy', I mean 'cold, lifeless, gripping hellborne dread'). Dark Salvation is made solely using the Q3 game engine, which will offer notoriously smooth gameplay (RtCW fans looking for a horror mod, rejoice!), and promises to offer some nice particle effects and eye-candy model / texture work. Keep your eyes peeled! This mod looks like it has a lot to offer. As a fan of the original Quake, I'll certainly be looking forward to playing this one. The Carbon Moon Corporation Eve-Online Corp is back in business, shipbuilding and PVP / PVE in Domain and Providence regions of New Eden. I've decided to leave the Probable Cause Alliance after Canadia Security closed, and tbh, I've had enough of the corporation jumping for awhile. I thought it might be nice to keep CMOON operational, and also to start an active recruiting phase.

Those who wish to join us in the Providence 0.0 (nullsec) regions for some good isk making ratting operations are welcome to apply in our offices in Arbaz or Ziriert.

Our Corp specializes in low security PvP and PvE. We are ANTI-PIRATE (Pirates are gay lol) and dedicated to the safety and security of the Providence Region as an extension of the Amarr Empire.

Good News for Steam users! Eve will soon be available to you as a 21 day trial (which tbh is better than the free trial offer CCP offers normal Eve users of 14 days! I don't know how I feel about Steam and Eve together in one platform just yet, because the details haven't been hammered out. In a way it seems like a good thing, but on the other hand: having about 60,000 foul-mouthed cs homos in Eve-Online will be both unenjoyable, and lag the game's heavier regions even more than they already are (breaking point). We'll have to see what happens.

A Jailbird No More

Hey guys. As of 06:00 CST this morning, I am officially a free man. 4 months of jailtime is over. I am home, safe and everything is well. Thank you all so very much for the kindness and support. I really appreciate it. It's going to take me about 2 more hours to weed through the spam in my hotmail box lulz.

I have some ideas for a new look for the site, but it's going to take a few days to get things situated here... and all I'd really like to do at the moment is relax. My nerves are f'ing shot.

At any rate...

1.Until I get some free cash, the Eve-Online Corp is on hold. We should be back up and running eventually.
2. The Quake / DMC servers are still down. If we want to run the DMC servers again, it will have to wait til I can get another server box, and they will have to be re-created. The old server box has taken its' final shit + all the server / binaries are gone.
3. I look like death warmed over and haven't had a haircut since June.
4. I'm fixin, looking over the Kusaba Imageboard site, it should be back up and running tomorrow. Thanks for all being adults and not crapping it up in my absence, guys.

More later. This is the first opportunity I've had in 4 months to sit (on something that isn't stainless steel) and relax. I'm going to make the best of it by doing absolutely nothing. Seeya soon ;)
